Collin County Mobility Plan Update

Prior to considering adoption of the plan, a Public Hearing  is scheduled to be held by the Collin County Commissioners Court, as part of their regular session meeting on Tuesday, January 8, 2008.  The Commissioners Court meeting will begin at 1:30 PM in the Commissioners Courtroom, 6th Floor, Collin County Courthouse,  210 S. McDonald St . in Mckinney, Texas.

Project Purpose

The purpose of the Collin County Mobility Plan project is to update the countywide transportation plan that draws upon previous planning efforts and to provide the county with a traffic analysis model that may be used to evaluate needed changes to the plan as conditions change. The Mobility Plan should provide, in one source, a comprehensive guide to transportation plans, projects and policies of Collin County. The Collin County Mobility Plan 2006 Update will be a plan that emphasizes the interrelationships between land use, other infrastructure extensions, and transportation issues.
